Just a thought - wouldn't it be good to include the table of contents on this page? Sure it's long and ugly, but I find it much easier to find an item in the list than by scrolling the page. We could also make sections "A - D", "E - G" etc. to make it more organized.
Another advantage is that it's easier for people to link to a specific section: click in the table of contents and copy the URL. Now the only way I know is to copy the URL and append #sectionname at the end.
In short, I think a table of contents would make this page even more useful.
I don't really see the point of a ToC on an alphabetically ordered page. Actually I doubt if anyone will come to the page as a bedtime read, either. Most likely they will arrive from a link on another page, directly to the section they need.
The issue of appending #sectionname is probably better addressed by adding it to the contributor how-to pages
Please remove alphabet in sections. In any language other than English, section headers will begin with the different letters than your alphabetic order.
Thanks.
Thanks for pointing this out, it's reverted now (it was just an experiment, good that you remarked this).
