That sounds like very useful information. Please do add it to the page. Don;t forget to check your work when you've finished to make sure that less technical users will understand :-) Ask if you need any help.

I added it. It should be technical free. I added a link to the bug if a user wish more technical detail. Now I wonder if is worth to add one example to strip a video stream from an mp4 to convert it to an mp4a. It is not really off topic, but I wonder if this is suitable for this wiki. Additionally, in my opinion, this is an Amarok/phonon/gstreamer (I don't know who's fault here) bug and should be solved one way or another, so this workaroud should just be removed once the bug is fixed. But adding few lines about how to strip the video stream will be very usefull to not experienced users, at least to point them in the right direction. What do you think about this?

I think you are right. It sounds like a very good idea to have this info availlable for our users. Please go ahead.

I made a few minor markup changes, to differentiate input from output, and also brought in the Warning template. Thanks.

Sorry, but I do not think that the main page of the application is the place for troubleshooting hints.

Troubleshooting and hints should be written in manual, e.g. here.

Thanks.

Yes, the main page is probably not the best, but the page you propose deals with relatively technical aspects. I propose Amarok/Manual/Various/FAQ#Playback_Questions as a better place/

They have been moved to the FAQ page.
