Hi,
It is almost impossible to help you in appropriate way without at least one example of what is untranslated (screenshot will be much appreciated).
Thanks.
sam25's images are not publicly available.
It is hard to read something on the screenshots, but guessing from the Kickoff and System Settings main page I can tell that these items cannot be translated via Launchpad (see [08:32]).
The only way to translate them is KDE upstream.
Hi Yurchor
Thanks for the reply.a few weeks ago I was working on KOffice suite. One day I woke up to translate and it is no where to be found. somebody Delete it from launchpad.what I want now is as you can see on the screen shot. those are the files I need to translate. if they are in launchpad. If not please paste the link for me.where I could translate them.
Thanks
KOffice developers decided to split further development.
Thomas Zander (KWord developer) and two or three new developers wanted to develop absolutely free from any sponsorship suite. This should be new KOffice: KWord (text processor), KCells (spreadsheet) and Kivio (flowchart management). Now it is almost dead (at least no new commits apart from bug fixing, no release plan.
Most of the former KOffice developers (maintainers of Karbon14, KWord, KSpread, Krita, Kivio, and KPlato) have found new project — Calligra. It consists of Karbon (vector graphics), Krita (painting), Sheets (spreadsheets), Words (text processor), Flow (flowcharts), and Plan (project management). These project dynamically grow and attracts new developers.
Kubuntu team decided to switch to Calligra, but forgot to inform ubuntu-translators. Then failed to import translations, then move KOffice translations on LP into trash can. Oops... It's Kubuntu (they even f*cked up all documentation translations for their release).
So, in short. No, you cannot translate KOffice on LP. But you can port your translation to Calligra in no time with Lokalize synchronization features.
But please be aware: Kubuntu 12.10 and any later version WILL NOT BE TRANSLATED VIA LP AT ALL!!! Send your translations upstream!
