Krunner是用於搜索與啟動檔案和應用程式的工具。它也可以用於更多一般的操作，如計算器、單位轉算器。 在大多數系統krunner可以按 Alt+F2 鍵啟動。

您可以使用Krunner作為一個高效率的計算器。它非常容易使用。只需按下Alt + F2並輸入您想要求的算式，如32*12= 或 =32*12（你可以把=放在算式之前或之後）。

可以求更為複雜的算式，例如：

=sqrt(4) + 32 * sin(60)

KRunner 可以幫助您轉換數字從一個單位到另一個單位，KDE 4.2之後包含長度、質量、速度和數量KDE 4.3之後包含貨幣、能源、壓力和溫度。每個類別的預設單位已設定。
