I need to reorganise the Plasma pages, which are currently in a bit of a mess. I've put a plan of action at http://pastebin.ca/1519261, so that you'll know where your pages end up :-) Thanks for all the good work--annew 15:28, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Over the last few days I've done a lot of work on categorising pages because I wanted to add an extension that uses them. I have now discovered that the extension is unsuitable for userbase, so that work is useless. Please don't waste your valuable time in adding the category marks to your translations.--annew 13:08, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Still a few left:
The next batch are from the KDE3 category. Where some of these pages are entirely KDE3, I wonder how long we should go on supporting them. What is your opinion?

I've now reached Category:File_Management. There are two templates there, Catnav and Catnaa, which appear to be directing Chinese readers to the old translation pages. Are they still needed? If so, do they need updating to the new translations? Not sure what's happening, so I need your comments :-)
Claus and I are doing some clean-up of the category statements. Also we have added a few categories, so you may need to add them into Category_Translation_简体中文_to_正體中文. Could you please look at and fix the category statements in these pages:

Thanks. So far I have just one more for you - I'll add others here as I find them. Today's is Toolbox/zh-cn

When I reorganise the category lists should I have a column for zh-hans? When people register for translation to Simplified Chinese are they going to be using zh-cn? What about the one that says also Traditional Chinese?
When I've finished the current clean-up I intend cleaning up those category translation lists. I started with four columns to each page, but some of the pages have grown, and still one or two languages don't have a column, so I'm trying to get together information about how many new columns we need.
There are many kinds of Chinese,
zh-hans: Simplified Chinese.
zh-hant: Traditional Chinese.
zh-cn: Simplified Chinese used in China mainland.
zh-tw: Traditional Chinese used in taiwan.
zh-hk: Traditional Chinese used in Honkong.
zh-mo: Traditional Chinese used in Macao.
Singapore(zh-sg) and Malaysia(zh-my),also have their own Simplified Chinese.
Fujian(zh-min-man) and Guangdong(zh-yue) are just dialect.
But except Wikipedia, it is meaningless to translate so many kinds of Chinese because their difference is just a little.
So zh-cn and zh-tw is enough, I will clean those zh-hans translations later(move them to zh-cn page)
Can you help me to remove those zh zh-classical zh-hans zh-hant zh-hk zh-min-man zh-mo zh-my zh-sg zh-yue in Translate Plugin ?
With today's update of the Translate extension, we have two new options in the "I want to" combibox -
Review all translated messages in... and Accept translations in.
These should be useful when you are checking on the work of new and relatively unknown translators. They are only available to translation Team Leaders, at least for now.
“User:Qiii2006/中文字体排印”跟这个页面“http://userbase.kde.org/Translation_Workflow/Chinese”重复了,是不是要删了?
不用删啊,User:Qiii2006/中文字体排印 这种个人User:xxx/下面的当作是草稿、没用的废弃掉、测试用的页面,没地方放就放个人页面下,以 http://userbase.kde.org/Translation_Workflow/Chinese 为准。
所有 template:xxx_(zh_CN) 的页面我都更新了,把旧的删了吧
Category:模板_(zh_CN)也需要删
貌似 Toolbox (zh CN) 也该删了,annew 不让用翻译的了。。。
Can you please take a look at User:Zhao_Han and the associated talk page? Thanks
While watching Recent Changes I noticed your section on Useless Pages. Are these pages that you would like me to delete?
实在看不下去了,GNOME3都要来了,kdecn网站还停留在一般kde4.4,一半kde3的年代~~~~ 打算弄个CMS搞,论坛和planet再考虑。(planet可能ikde已经够了,中国也没什么其他人弄kde相关的blog)另外实验一个英文的helping center
去邮件列表或者forum.kde.org讨论下吧~~ http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=149&t=93164

We are close to moving UserBase to the new Chihuahua theme. There are some big advantages with Chihuahua, not the least being the ability to adapt to screen space, both large screens and small, hand-held ones. Much of the work I've been doing lately has been to prepare pages for the switch. As always, with something new, there are likely to be issues that we are not aware of until it is in more general use, so I'm approaching all who have made significant contribution in the last seven days, asking for help.
I'd like you to change your User Preferences to use Chihuahua, as soon as possible. The plan at the moment is that if at the end of this week we have no show-stopper issues we will make Chihuahua the default theme for UserBase, probably next weekend.
There is a public Etherpad at http://webteam.notes.kde.jefferai.org/14? - please add any notes, comments, issues there. It's also helpful if you say "Hi" in the chat window, because that ties a comment colour to your name, so I know who to approach if more discussion is needed.
Thanks for the help.
I think you added some section markers on Plasma_application_launchers? Apologies if I've misunderstood, but it looks as though they were manually inserted. That can cause fuzzybot to go beserk ;-) To play safe I took out the markers <--T:37-->, 38 and 39, leaving your <translate> and </translate> pairs, then marked it for translation. The system immediately put them back where you had them, but if course the difference is that it now knows where they are and belong.
In short, translate pairs exactly as you are doing it now, but no manually inserted numbers, please.
