[[Category:Getting Started|Contributing]] is just one category [[Category:Getting Started]], the string Contributing will be displayed in the father category of [[Category:Getting Started]].
When you add two categories, eg [[Category:Getting Started]] [[Category:Contributing]]
Mediawiki displays them as [[Category:Getting Started|Contributing]] but it does know that they are separate categories. If you hover over each one you will see that it links to the correct category page.
I misunderstood..... I thought it was talking about meidia wiki code , but in fact it was talking about display result.
