Perhaps we should start removing [[Category:KDE3]] markup as we come across them. (We would first need to make sure, that those pages have the {{KDE3}} somewhere). Or do those explicit category markups still serve a purpose?

The template was intended from the start to put those pages into the category, but it didn't work. Now it does work we should remove the manual ones as we come across them, but they do no harm if they are around for a while. They don't cause the page to appear twice, for instance.
