It seems that some authors prefer to format the pages as they like, using some entities (like  , —, etc.). If the usage of such entities is necessary for the wiki, can it be regulated by the translation or author rules?

BTW in Opera (Linux)   looks like empty bar (with the border).
I'm not sure what we can do about this. We make typographical guidelines, but I don't see any way that we can enforce them. I'll contact this particular author and see if I can persuade him/her to change the entries. I suspect that the pages in question are being prepared in some html writer and pasted in, but again, I can't actually stop that. All suggestions for dealing with this sort of problem would be gratefully received.
