If I remember correctly, we decided to remove this page since most of the content already are on other pages. Is that right?

In theory, yes. http://userbase.kde.org/Special:WhatLinksHere/UserBase/Guidelines shows the problem, though. Many of those are old-style translations which will disappear shortly. Any pages that aren't, though, have to be changed before this can be deleted.

Point taken. Is it OK to remove the link from the main page, then?

Yes, please do. Most of the pages at link are old translations which should disappear soon. If you have time, though, it would help if you check the list carefully and see which pages need checking.

Just noticed a problem. If this page is outdated, should it really be marked for translation? I understand that the translations should be accessible, but it feels like a waste of time and effort to let new people translate it if it's going away.

I'm inclined to simply update para 5. and leave the page alone after that. There's nothing actually wrong with it, and if someone comes across it from a link there are already many translations. I don't see it likely that there would be frequent edits, so it's not an on-going job.
