Akonadi Troubleshooting

I see that you added a Troubleshooting section to the Akonadi page, where you recommend to log off and back in to the KDE session to solve when KMail gets stuck. Regarding this I wanted to ask you:

  • Does it work if you just, from the File menu, enable working offline, and then disable it back? This is the workaround I’m currently using (I even associated a key shortcut to that action), and it works like a charm here. It would definitely be betten than restarting the whole KDE session.
  • Don’t you think it would be better to provide that troubleshooting information in the KMail page instead of in Akonadi? It seems to be something specific to KMail (if I understood it right), and not to every application relying in Akonadi.

No, offline then on-line does not work. I am fine to move it to Kmail though.
