Contrary to the import of data from external files or databases, the import from project files allows to import whole project artifacts like the data containers and visualizations, etc. into the current project opened in LabPlot. This is useful only part of another project (for example the spreadsheets with the data) are required or the results from another project needs to be merged into the current project.

Currently only the import from LabPlot native and from Origin projects is supported.
