Message definition (Plasma/FAQ/4.4)

Plasma's main components are ''widgets''. Widgets can take on a variety of functions, ranging from displaying your desktop and associated wallpaper, showing your laptop's battery level, displaying your plugged in devices, and drawing the taskbar: basically, they are small applications that live on the desktop. Additionally, widgets can be grouped together in "containers", like the panel and even the desktop itself.

Los componentes principales de Plasma son elementos gráficos. Los elementos gráficos pueden tener multitud de funciones, como mostrar tu escritorio y su fondo de pantalla asociado, indicar el nivel de batería de tu portátil, mostrar tus dispositivos conectados, y dibujar la barra de tareas: básicamente, son pequeñas aplicaciones que viven en el escritorio. Además, los elementos gráficos pueden agruparse en "contenedores", como el panel e incluso el propio escritorio.
