麵包屑導航

這是一種文件層次結構導航的方式：位於Amarok 的媒體源窗格頂部。從主文件夾（home）這層開始，它顯示當前位於文件系統的何處。 When you have gone to a particular place in the file system, you will see all folders at a higher level.在Amarok 中，位於文件夾層次之間的> 鏈接允許你找到位於當前這個層次的其他文件夾。麵包屑導航是個用於計算機文件系統瀏覽的有效途徑。

收藏

所有音樂文件都會被Amarok 錄入到數據庫中。收藏的音軌的大小和位置依據當前電腦連接並掛載外部設備（比如音頻CD 或便攜式音樂播放器）的不同而有所變化。

內容瀏覽器

這是媒體源窗格的中間部分，允許你列出收藏中有的音樂。內容瀏覽器允許你選擇音軌列表的排序次序以及詳細信息。

播放列表

你收藏中要播放的一部分曲目。一些便攜式播放器會有預定義的有別於你當前Amarok 播放列表的播放列表。

腳本

用於擴展功能的 Amarok 插件。腳本可以在工具-> 腳本管理器中管理。添加更多的歌詞源，更多流媒體站點，保存封面到專輯文件夾，刻錄播放列表成CD 等等。

Scrobble

scrobble 音軌的意思是當你收聽該音軌，該音軌的標題和藝人便會發送給網站比如Last.fm，這些信息會添加到你的個人資料中。

流、流媒體

就像20 世紀的電台，Internet 電台發送內容的"流"。人們可以找到音樂、新聞、評論和見解。許多流媒體可以直接通過Amarok訪問，或者通過腳本，比如Cool Streams，或某個通過菜單(播放列表-> 添加流媒體)添加的流媒體。
