Utilitites

KDE ti offre anche programmi di utilità, strumenti e accessori per facilitare il tuo lavoro. Non sottovalutare queste applicazioni perché possono offrirti funzionalità aggiuntive di cui non sarai più in grado di fare a meno. Spaziando da strumenti per gestire file a quelli per il sistema, questi piccoli programmi di utilità danno quel tocco in più al tuo desktop.

Gestione dei file

	Ark Un programma che ti permette di gestire archivi di file in molti formati.
	Filelight Mostra come è utilizzato lo spazio del disco disegnandolo come gruppi di diagrammi a torta concentrici.
	KDiff3 Un visualizzatore che può confrontare 2 o 3 file o cartelle.
	KDiskFree Uno strumento per visualizzare l'utilizzo del disco e per montare/smontare le partizioni.
	Kerry Un'interfaccia grafica per lo strumento di ricerca desktop Beagle.
	Krusader Un avanzato gestore di file a doppio pannello (stile commander).
	KFind Lo strumento KDE per trovare i file, è caratterizzato dalla possibilità di effettuare ricerche per mezzo di espressioni regolari e all'interno dei file.
	KFloppy Uno strumento per formattare dischi floppy. Supporta dischi da 3.5" e 5.25".
	KRename Un'applicazione per rinominare gruppi di file.  See footnote
