Aiutare la Comunità KDE

Come posso aiutare nello sviluppo? Ho bisogno di imparare a programmare?

Ci sono molti modi per aiutare la comunità KDE non solo tramite la programmazione. Ci sono altre aree di contribuzione che necessitano di capacità differenti. Tutto quello che è necessario è il desiderio di aiutare e un po' di impegno. Naturalmente se vuoi imparare come programmare per contribuire, saremo ben più che disponibili ad aiutarti ad iniziare.

Alcune altre modalità per aiutare includono

Supporto all'utente finale: se hai esperienza considera la possibilità di partecipare a una mailing list o al the Forum per aiutare nel supporto ai nuovi utenti.

Se sei in grado di aiutare con le traduzioni come parte della squadra ufficiale, consulta questa lista per trovare un punto di contatto. Se ti piacerebbe aiutare con la traduzione di UserBase, utilizza il collegamento nella barra laterale per ottenere un profilo traduttore, poi leggi la pagina Operazioni e strumenti.

Anche la documentazione in inglese è necessaria e UserBase è un buon posto per iniziare.

D: Quando accedo a KDE, alcuni programmi vengono o non vengono avviati e voglio modificare questo comportamento. Come posso farlo?

Keyboard shortcuts

Q: When I take a break, I just want to hit the Break key and the desktop should be locked. How can I achieve this?

A: Open System Settings.

Select Shortcuts and Gestures -> Custom Shortcuts -> Edit -> New -> Global Shortcut -> Command/URL -> Trigger. Click on the Shortcut, type the key you want to associate (Break in this example). Click on Action. As Command/URL enter

/usr/lib64/kde4/libexec/kscreenlocker_greet

Then click on Apply.
