    Primeros pasos con IRC

    A veces la gente te dirá que te pueden ayudar más si visitas un canal de IRC. Si nunca lo has hecho antes, puede sonar aterrador, pero es muy sencillo. Incluso hay formas que funcionarán bien tanto en Linux como en Windows. Como hablar con otros usuarios de KDE muestra en detalle una sencilla forma de iniciarse. ¡Pruébalo! Hay más desarrolladores en IRC que en las listas de correo o cualquier otro canal de ayuda.

    Dependiendo de como esté configurado tu sistema o de como tu distribución configure tu navegador para trabajar con enlaces irc://, al hacer clic en el nombre de un canal se iniciará tu cliente IRC, y se conectará al servidor y unirá al canal. Este comportamiento es específico de cada navegador y sistema.
