Click on your distribution for more information on its KMail packaging.
Do note that KMail is available in nearly all common distributions of Linux and other free Unix-like operating systems, and even on Windows thanks to the KDE on Windows project. The list below is therefore not complete.
KMail is also the default mailer in the Kontact Personal Information Manager.
