KMail ist die E-Mail-Komponente von Kontact, der integrierte Personal Information Manager (PIM) (Persönlicher Informationsverwalter) von KDE.

Groupware

KMail unterstützt Groupware Funktionalitäten. Sie können Einladungen von Kollegen erhalten und diese akzeptieren. Wenn Sie diese akzeptieren, werden diese automatisch in Ihren Kalender eingetragen. Um Ihren Kalender zu betrachten, starten Sie KOrganizer oder Kontact.

Where to Get

KMail is available in all major Linux distribution repositories, as tarballs, and soon a Flatpak version will also be available. Ancient versions were compatible with Windows, the Kontact team is looking for help to improve Windows support. For more information look at the Kontact download page.
