KOrganizer 用的是叫 iCalendar 的文件來存儲數據。iCalendar 是日曆數據的開發標準，除了 iCalendar KOrganizer 還支持 vCalendar 標準。

多數其它日曆程序都是同時支援這兩種標準的，一些手機之類的移動設置也是支援的。

KOrganizer 能夠以 network-transparent 的方式直接導入文檔工作，使你能夠，例如無需複製或同步的情況下，在辦公室和家裡能夠訪問同一個日曆。
