KPilot 是PalmSource 公司的Palm Desktop software的替代品，使得你的PalmOS 系統的手持設備（比如Palm Zire 31）能夠與你的KDE工作區交換數據。 KPilot 並不是完全靠自身替代Palm Desktop。他連接和集成許多優良的KDE3.x程序比如Kontact 進一個軟件包，能做到所有Palm Desktop能做到的，甚至更多。
