Вступ
Kdenlive — скорочення від KDE Non-Linear Video Editor (нелінійний відеоредактор для KDE). Програма належить до вільного програмного забезпечення (ліцензування за GPL). Основною платформою програми є Linux, але вона здатна працювати на багатьох платформах (*BSD, Windows, MacOS...), оскільки працює на основі придатних до портування компонентів (Qt та модуля обробки MLT).
Нелінійне відеоредагування є набагато потужнішим за редагування початкового рівня (лінійне), оскільки потребує певних знань. Але таким редагуванням можуть займатися не лише спеціалісти, ним можна скористатися для невеличких особистих проектів.
За допомогою модуля обробки MLT у Kdenlive можна скористатися багатьма додатками ефектів для обробки та створення відео та звуку. Крім того, у Kdenlive передбачено потужний інструмент субтитрування, створення DVD (з меню), тому програмою можна користуватися як універсальним інструментом для створення відео.
Можливості з редагування відео
