Mensajería Off-the-Record
Este complemento te permite cifrar conversaciones con personas que también utilicen clientes compatibles con OTR. Al activar este complemento, aparecerá un icono con un candado en las ventanas de charla, que te permitirá iniciar sesiones OTR. Antes de poder iniciar sesiones OTR, tendrás que generar una clave privada para cada cuenta. Esta operación se puede realizar fácilmente desde el diálogo de configuración del complemento.
Details
OTR provides encryption and authentication (if the fingerprint of the other participant is accepted) but the messages aren't signed, so participant can deny the conversation.
Policy
Plugin offers four policies to decide when start sessions:
- Always
- OTR session will be started in each conversation
- Manual
- OTR session will be started only manually
- Opportunistic
- OTR session will be started if the other client supports it
- Never
- OTR session will never be started
