Descripción

Los objetivos de Kopete son proporcionar a los usuarios una interfaz estándar y fácil de usar para todos los sistemas de mensajería instantánea, y al mismo tiempo proporcionar a los desarrolladores la facilidad de escribir plugins para hacerlo compatible con un nuevo protocolo.

Todos los protocolos son plugins y permiten una instalación, configuración y uso modular sin que la aplicación principal sepa nada del plugin cargado.
