Kubuntu — дружня до користувачів операційна система на основі Linux, у якій використано Стільницю Плазма KDE. Маючи передбачуваний шестимісячний розклад випуску і будучи частиною проекту Ubuntu, Kubuntu є дистрибутивом Linux для кожного.

Linux is an operating system kernel that resembles the Unix operating system.
