Arkaplan

Geliştirilmesi, Google'ın Summer of Code programı ile başladı. Projenin açıklaması KDE Geliştirici Köşesi'nde bulunabilir.

Okular KPDF'nin mükemmel çok yönlü işlevselliğini PDF, Postscript, DjVu, CHM ve diğer bir çok farklı belge türünü destekleyerek birleştiriyor.

Belge biçim işleyicileri sayfası, desteklenen biçimler ve her birinde desteklenen özellikler hakkında daha ayrıntılı bilgi içeren bir tablo içermektedir.

Çoğu biçimi desteklediği gibi, Okular metin seçme, yorum yapma, bir belge içerisinde gömülü dosyaları çıkartılması ve diğer pek çok farklı sürprizler içermektedir. Okular ekran görüntüleri buradan görülebilir.

Hints and Tips

Printing

In this forum topic a user stated that Okular could not print PDFs. The problem was traced to a corrupt ~/.cups/lpoptions. Renaming this file allows Okular to rebuild it, after which he had no more problem printing PDFs.

Reviewing Documents

Double clicking on either one of the Review tools (F6) allows you to make multiple annotations without having to reactivate the tool after the first time.
