Simon/TTS Voices

From KDE UserBase Wiki
The printable version is no longer supported and may have rendering errors. Please update your browser bookmarks and please use the default browser print function instead.

Simon provides multiple TTS backends. One of them is called "Webservice" and can use any web based TTS Server that returns WAV files. One of those servers is the OpenMARY project.

OpenMARY does include a couple of languages by default (English, German,...). A voice for brazilian portoguese is currently being added. At the moment it can be found on the creators website.
