Lots of user hints on one of the devs blogs, or at minimum ideas on how to turn it into a small user-tutorial.

These 3 are all about the same thing (Cyrille: not at all, it's three totaly different thing);

|Is KRITA still to be translated here since it is moved to another place ???||20||10:39, 15 June 2018|
Traduire cette page The Krita Manual
The Krita manual has been moved to Krita Documentation
It up to you. If you think it makes sense to translate it then go ahead. However, it is probably already out of date, so I wouldn't bother, or at least give it a very low priority.
The problem I see is that the translation pages lead to https://userbase.kde.org/Krita
which is different from https://userbase.kde.org/Krita/en.
So coming from the translated page: https://userbase.kde.org/index.php?title=Special:Translate&group=page-Krita&language=fr&action=page&filter=
and it is IMPOSSIBLE to access the english source the items were extracted from https://userbase.kde.org/Krita/en.
Who can provide the 'normal' path access : https://userbase.kde.org/index.php?title=Special:Translate&group=page-Krita&language=fr&action=page&filter=
and NOT to https://userbase.kde.org/Krita
Kind of fixed now. Thanks.
BTW, you can do such things by yourself. ;)
yes but I see in history that Fuzzybot has now smashed all my work ! I have completed the translation of the Krita page to 100% and now i see it is back to 1% !!! . Can you then cancel the Fuzzybot action for me to check the rereading en/ fr please.
You do not have permission to edit this page, for the following reason:
You can view and copy the source of this page.
Should we delete all mentions of Krita on UserBase? Should we do this on TechBase as well, btw?
This page has nothing to do with Krita's help and has the link on docs.krita.org, btw.
P. S. I should delete all translations of simple advertisement page if the answer is "Yes". Can you do it for me (with the page itself) for me not being accused of ruining other people's work?
Well. From IRC (#krita):
boud: Hi! If you do not want UserBase page at all, what if I just redirect Krita link on applications page to krita.org then remove all translations? [18:24] <boud> yurchor: that would be even better -- I just didn' t know how to do that [18:24] <yurchor> boud: Ok. Thanks.
Sorry guys. All our work was in vein. :'(
Local pages still exist and show Red links when accessed via 'myLanguage' since the root page has been suppressed. To avoid regrets, it would be good to provide a link "OLD" to reach them while providing also the official new link. Add a warning on the local page says it is redirected to another place. (ex: https://userbase.kde.org/Table_of_equivalent_applications/fr)
|- ! Editeur d'Images | Paint.NET, Adobe Photoshop || Adobe Photoshop, Pixelmator || [https://docs.krita.org/fr/ Krita] ([[Krita/fr|old]]),[[Special:myLanguage/KolourPaint|KolourPaint]] |-
.... a halfway solution.
I am not sure I understand what we should do here. Should we remove all pages related to Krita or only the old manual? We have quite a lot of tutorial material for Krita (linked from the old Krita main page). Is this material obsolete? Should it be transferred to krita.org?
I am not quite comfortable having translated pages "floating around" with the parent page having been removed. This might cause problems down the road.
I'm sorry, I thought that the pages had been removed in March already. We moved the manual and all its content to docs.krita.org quite a long time ago already... We're working on a new translation workflow. See also https://docs.krita.org/en/contributors_manual/krita_manual_readme.html
I've now got the power to delete pages, but I'm not sure how to do that efficiently.
