Is KRITA still to be translated here since it is moved to another place ???

Jump to: navigation, search

Local pages still exist and show Red links when accessed via 'myLanguage' since the root page has been suppressed. To avoid regrets, it would be good to provide a link "OLD" to reach them while providing also the official new link. Add a warning on the local page says it is redirected to another place. (ex: https://userbase.kde.org/Table_of_equivalent_applications/fr)

|- ! Editeur d'Images | Paint.NET, Adobe Photoshop || Adobe Photoshop, Pixelmator || [https://docs.krita.org/fr/ Krita] ([[Krita/fr|old]]),[[Special:myLanguage/KolourPaint|KolourPaint]] |-

.... a halfway solution.

You do not have permission to edit this page, for the following reason:

I'm sorry, I thought that the pages had been removed in March already. We moved the manual and all its content to docs.krita.org quite a long time ago already... We're working on a new translation workflow. See also https://docs.krita.org/en/contributors_manual/krita_manual_readme.html

I've now got the power to delete pages, but I'm not sure how to do that efficiently.

I think you are talking about the manual, right? My question was about all the other Krita stuff on UserBase - in particular the tutorials such as Krita/Tutorial 1. Are they still useful? Should they remain here or be moved to krita.org?

Should Krita still have a page on UserBase like other applications or do you prefer just a link in the applications list?

Hi Claus , It should be good to decide what we keep and what we dont keep following the deport of Krita subject. I'm involved in the translation of pages and would not like to spend my time on subjects which are being to be deleted. I dont understand why the pages should be "reworked" in the new environment. A lot of work has been done on their conception with pretty illutrations and translations have followed accordingly. One (You? Yurchor?) must statuate on where the pages will go. If they are really transferred to another place, they must no longer appear here, and of course NO LONGER be presented in the statistics of pages to be translated since I start my work from these indications.

I think this should be decided by the leading developer. ‎Boudewijn?

ok, let us see his point of view; better is to restart on healthy basis.

Hi Boud! it seems difficult to solve the problem of what we have to do by ourselves; how could we find a solution to this subject ? what could you propose concerning the moving/translating/deleting of the different pages related to Krita and still present in userbase ? Thanks a lot.
