Selecting <menuchoice>Edit Clip</menuchoice> on image clips causes the image editing software specified in <menuchoice>Settings</menuchoice> → <menuchoice>Configure Kdenlive</menuchoice> → <menuchoice>Environment</menuchoice> → [[Special:myLanguage/Kdenlive/Manual/Settings_Menu/Configure_Kdenlive#Default_Apps|Default Apps]] → <menuchoice>Image editing</menuchoice> to open the image file ready for editing. [https://www.gimp.org/ GIMP] is the app that is configured by default to be the audio editing tool for Kdenlive.
