This section is not ready for the first release of the Visual Design Guidelines and so is not proposed to be included in the HIG right now. It will be fleshed out over time and included in a subsequent update

Design Patterns

Successful design patterns from different areas of the workspace, the same application, or other applications, are re-used where possible.

Types of design patterns include:

  • A similar arrangement of visual elements that communicate similar information or perform a similar function.
  • A similar sequence of steps to complete a task.
