Service Providers

Service providers are supported using XML and script files (JavaScript, ruby or python). There are already service providers for these countries/cities:

  • Germany
    • Deutsche Bahn, db.de, works for all cities and stops in germany, also works for cities in other countries in europe. Should be used instead of other german service providers to use all features of PublicTransport.
    • Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG), bvg.de
    • Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe AG (DVB), dvb.de
    • Nahverkehrsservice Sachsen-Anhalt GmbH (NASA), nasa.de
    • Rhein-Main-Berkehrsverbund GmbH (RMV), rmv.de, this one uses an XML source, so the data to be received is smaller.
    • Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund Stuttgart GmbH (VVS), vvs.de
    • Verkerhsverbund Rhein-Neckar GmbH (VRN), vrn.de
    • Weser-Ems Busverkehr GmbH, fahrplaner.de
  • Switzerland
    • Schweizerische Bundesbahnen SBB, sbb.ch, works for all cities and stops in switzerland, also works for cities in other countries in europe.
  • Austria
    • ÖBB, oebb.at, works for all cities in austria
  • Belgium
    • NMBS/SNCB, b-rail.be, works for some/all? cities in belgium
  • Denmark
    • Rejseplanen A/S, rejseplanen.dk, works for some/all? cities in denmark
  • USA
    • Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), septa.org
  • France
    • Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français (SNCF), gares-en-movement.com, works for 168 stops in france, no local public transportation
Static data: May contain journeys that actually don't run today. In the "journey news" field you can view additional information about the journey (e.g. "runs Mo-Fr") when you view the additional information of a journey (context menu or double click).

Airports in the whole world are supported through flightstats.com.
