Message definition (KPPP)

This software is used to setup ''PPP'' (Point-to-Point Protocol) connections. This is most useful for connecting with a cell phone "modem" card these days. It is also use to configure real modem connections. The '''NetworkManager''' suite intends implementing ''PPP'' functionality that will probably, in time, make '''KPPP''' obsolete.

Bu yazılım, "PPP" (Point-to-Point / Noktadan Noktaya protokol) bağlantıları yapılandırmaya yarar. Günümüzde en çok cep telefonlarını modem olarak kullanmak için kullanılır. Gerçek modemlerle bağlantı kurmak için de işlevseldir. NetworkManager (Ağ Yöneticisi) bu görevleri başarıyla yerine getirmeye başlayınca KPPP kullanım dışı kalır diye tahmin ediliyor.
