Вероятно, в окне Главных настроек двумя самыми важными окажутся: возможность запуска пустого буфера, либо восстановление сессии с прошлого запуска, и синхронизация содержимого буфера и выделения. Вероятно, что это значит - не станет понятно сразу, полное описание дано в руководстве. Необходимо четко понимать, что она делает, чтобы не сделать неправильного выбора и на расстраиваться потом.
