Message definition (Kopete/Jabber/Messaging and sending files)

You can start chatting with a contact by clicking on the name. A new window will open and you can type in messages into the smaller field at the bottom, where the cursor already resides. When you want to send your text, hit <keycap>Enter</keycap> or press the <menuchoice>Send</menuchoice> button. You and your partner can communicate now via Jabber.

Щоб розпочати спілкування з кимось з ваших контактів, наведіть вказівник миші на його пункт у списку і клацніть лівою кнопкою миші. Програма відкриє нове вікно у якому ви зможете вводити повідомлення у меншому полі, розташованому у її нижній частині, де буде показано курсор. Щоб надіслати введений текст натисніть клавішу Enter або кнопку Надіслати. Таким чином, ви зможете обмінюватися повідомленнями з вашим співрозмовником або співрозмовницею.
