Message definition (Kopete/Jabber/Fill in your account data in Kopete)

Click on the Tab <menuchoice>Connection</menuchoice> to check additional options. Especially selecting <menuchoice>Use protocol encryption</menuchoice> and the unselection of <menuchoice>Allow plain-text password authentification</menuchoice> should be chosen for basic security reasons.
