Message definition (Kopete/Jabber/Useful configuration hints)

This may take a while and you have to wait until Kopete finished. After that close the OTR window with <menuchoice>OK</menuchoice> and <menuchoice>Apply</menuchoice> the changes. You eventually will have to restart Kopete after this. Then open a chat window of the contact you want to safely communicate with. Go to <menuchoice>Tools -> OTR Settings -> Start OTR Session</menuchoice> or use the icon <menuchoice>OTR Encryption -> Start OTR Session</menuchoice>. Kopete will start the session if your contact is capable of OTR, otherwise you'll recieve an error message.

Створення ключа може бути доволі тривалою процедурою, вам доведеться зачекати на її завершення. Коли ключ буде створено, закрийте вікно OTR натисканням кнопки Гаразд і підтвердіть внесені зміни натисканням кнопки Застосувати. Нарешті, вам доведеться перезапустити програму Kopete. Після перезапуску відкрийте вікно балачки з тим контактом, з яким ви бажаєте поспілкуватися у захищеному режимі. Скористайтеся пунктом меню Інструменти -> Параметри OTR -> Розпочати сеанс OTR або натисніть піктограму Шифрування OTR -> Розпочати сеанс OTR. Kopete розпочне сеанс, якщо клієнтська програма вашого контакту підтримує OTR. Якщо такої підтримки не передбачено, буде показано повідомлення про помилку.
