Message definition (Digikam/Compress)

If I’m shooting JPEG fine then I can only shoot 2300 pictures into my 16GB memory card, however at the basic setting I can shoot 8200 pictures in the same card. For me storage matters and there is no need to shoot that high quality images when they all look the same on the computer. We only need that quality if we are printing each and every image to a canvas, other than that I see no need.

За умов зйомки у режимі JPEG-fine можна зберегти лише 2300 знімків на картці пам’яті місткістю 16 ГБ, а у режимі basic можна зняти 8200 фотографій на ту саму картку. Якщо для вас важливою є кількість і немає потреби у зніманні з надто високою якістю: всі зображення на комп’ютері виглядатимуть однаково. Якість потрібна лише тоді, коли ви маєте намір друкувати всі зображення.
