And since the heat capacities are all the same and cancel out, and the final volume is the sum of the two initial volumes: 
:(V1+V2)*Tfinal = V1*T1 + V2*T2
::or
:Tfinal = (V1*T1 + V2*T2)/(V1+V2)

Оскільки теплоємності є однаковими, на них можна скоротити. Остаточний об’єм дорівнюватиме сумі двох початкових об’ємів:

(V1+V2)*T_ост = V1*T1 + V2*T2

або

T_ост = (V1*T1 + V2*T2)/(V1+V2)
