Message definition (KPPP)

This software is used to setup ''PPP'' (Point-to-Point Protocol) connections. This is most useful for connecting with a cell phone "modem" card these days. It is also use to configure real modem connections. The '''NetworkManager''' suite intends implementing ''PPP'' functionality that will probably, in time, make '''KPPP''' obsolete.

Este programa é usado para configurar conexões PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol). Isto é muio útil para conectar-se com uma placa de modem de celular nos dias atuais. É também usado para configurar conexões via modem real. O pacote NetworkManager tenta implementar a funcionalidade PPP o que provavelmente, com o tempo, tornará o KPPP obsoleto.
