: This is because '''Quassel''' has a different approach to logging in and out of a chat. You can <menuchoice>Hide a chat temporarily</menuchoice> or <menuchoice>Hide a chat permanently</menuchoice>. If you hide a chat temporarily, the chat will remain active till you unhide it. If you want to remove a channel completely, for example because you entered it accidentially and it does not exist, do the following: Select the channel, right-click, choose <menuchoice>Part -> Delete Chat(s)... -> Yes</menuchoice>.

Por que não há um item de menu fechar chat?

É porque o Quassel tem uma abordagem diferente para entrar e sair de um bate-papo. Você pode Esconder um bate-papo temporariamente ou Esconder um bate-papo permanentemente. Se você esconde um bate-papo temporariamente, o bate-papo continua ativo até que você o reexiba. Se você quiser remover completamente um canal, por exemplo porque você entrou nele acidentalmente e ele não existia, faça o seguinte: Selecione o canal, clique-direito, escolha Sair -> Apagar Bate-Papos(s)... -> Sim.
