Message definition (System Settings/Date & Time)

In this configuration dialog you can set the system time and date. Because it is a system wide setting, you will be asked for the root password for any changes to take effect. In the <menuchoice>Date and Time</menuchoice> tab, you can check the <menuchoice>Set date and time automatically</menuchoice> option and choose a public time server from the <menuchoice>Time server</menuchoice> dropdown list. In this case your date and time will be set automatically. This requires an internet connection.

За допомогою цього діалогового вікна налаштовування ви можете визначити час і дату системи. Оскільки значення цих параметрів є загально системними, для внесення змін вам доведеться вказати пароль адміністративного користувача (root). Ви можете позначити пункт Встановити дату та час автоматично на вкладці Дата і час і вибрати відкритий сервер часу зі спадного списку Сервер служби часу. Якщо ви це зробите, дата і час у вашій системі встановлюватимуться автоматично. Для такого автоматичного встановлення вам знадобиться з’єднання з інтернетом.
