The preference can be changed any time in the <menuchoice>Configure Local Collection</menuchoice> <menuchoice>Configure Amarok</menuchoice> dialog page for the '''Local Collection''' and in the configure dialogs of '''iPod, iPad & iPhone''' and '''Universal Mass Storage''' collections.
