When scanning the local music library, '''Amarok''' tries to find corresponding covers for albums. At this point, '''Amarok''' only searches them from the file system, not from the Internet. Při prohledávání místní hudební knihovny se Amarok pokouší o nalezení odpovídajících obalů pro alba. V tomto bodě je Amarok hledá jen v souborovém systému, ne na internetu. Pokud nejsou ve vašich souborech nalezeny žádné, Amarok použije jako obal alba zástupný obrázek, který vypadá jako tento:
