The best in multimedia is installed when you open your new '''Kubuntu''' installation. If you get an error message about "missing codecs" please install <code>kubuntu-restricted-extras</code>. You can find your Multimedia applications through <menuchoice>Kickoff->Applications->Multimedia</menuchoice>.

У нововстановленій Kubuntu є майже усе для роботи із мультимедійними даними. Якщо система раптом повідомить вам про те, що «не вистачає кодеків», будь ласка, встановіть пакунок kubuntu-restricted-extras. Пункти мультимедійних програм можна знайти у гілці меню Kickoff -> Програми -> Звук та відео.
