KPart je individuální komponenta "pracovní plochy KDE Plasma" a umožňuje aplikacím sdílet jejich služby s ostatními aplikacemi. KParts umožňuje aplikacím KMail a KOrganizer integraci (jako pluginy) do aplikace Kontact , nebo KHTML zobrazovat stránky v aplikaci Akregator.
