Message definition (Konqueror)

''Frames'' allow you to view multiple locations, documents or websites in a single window under a single tab by splitting the window. This can be used e.g. to view multiple web pages at once, to copy files from one location to another (either from one folder to another or from a remote location like an FTP site or a shared network folder), view or compare two documents at the same time and for many other possibilities.
To use frames, either go to the <menuchoice>Window</menuchoice> menu or right-click on the status bar at the bottom of the window and select either <menuchoice>Split view left/right</menuchoice> or <menuchoice>Split view top/bottom</menuchoice>. You can also create or remove frames using the short-cuts displayed in the <menuchoice>Window</menuchoice> menu for each action. You can control each view by clicking on it and interacting with it as usual.

За допомогою блоків ви зможете переглядати вміст декількох сторінок, документів або веб-сайтів у єдиному вікні на одній вкладці: достатньо лише розділити її на окремі області. Блоками можна скористатися для одночасного перегляду декількох веб-сторінок, копіювання файлів з однієї адреси на іншу (з однієї теки у іншу або з віддаленої адреси, зокрема сайта FTP або теки спільного використання у мережі), перегляду і порівняння двох документів, а також для виконання інших завдань. Щоб перевести програму у режим показу блоків відкрийте меню Вікно або наведіть вказівник миші на смужку стану, розташовану у нижній частині вікна, і клацніть правою кнопкою миші. У меню оберіть пункт Розділений перегляд: лівий/правий або Розділений перегляд: вгорі/внизу. Крім того, ви можете створювати блоки за допомогою клавіатурних скорочень, показаних у меню Вікно для кожної з відповідних дій. Керувати блоками можна за допомогою контекстних меню у звичайному режимі.
