The button <menuchoice>Merge View</menuchoice> at the top of the collection lets you merge collections. This means songs from your local collection, audio CD, mp3-player and so on will be shown in one unified collection. It is a toggle switch so you can easily revert to showing the separate sources.

Amarok biedt ondersteuning voor een grote verscheidenheid aan media-apparaten, zoals iPods, MTP- en UMS-apparaten.

De knop Weergave samenvoegen bovenaan de verzameling laat u verzamelingen samenvoegen. Dit betekent dat liedjes uit uw lokale verzameling, van uw audio-CD, mp3-speler enzovoorts samen in één gebundelde verzameling getoond zullen worden. Met deze knop kunt u ook weer makkelijk terugggaan naar het gescheiden tonen van verzamelingen.
