Choose <menuchoice>View -> Map</menuchoice>, and you should see photos from the current album mapped on the 3-D globe. You can then use the mouse to rotate the globe and the mouse wheel to zoom in and out. Obviously, the Map view displays only geotagged photos.

Statt der konventionellen Stichwortanzeige mit Vorschaubildern, kann digiKam die Bilder auch geolokalisiert auf einem 3D Globus anzeigen. Wählen sie dazu Ansicht -> Karte, und sie sehen die Bilder des ausgewählten Albums auf dem 3D Globus.Klicken sie mit der Maus den Globus an und ziehen sie diese um den Globus zu rotieren, und mit dem Mausrad vergrößern oder verkleinern sie die Kartendarstellung. Selbstverständlich werden nur Bilder angezeigt, sofern diese Geodaten enthalten.
