KIconEdit è un'applicazione con un solo scopo: creare icone personalizzate.
Caratteristiche
- Strumenti rettangolo, cerchio ed ellisse, solo contorno o pieno;
- selezione rettangolare e circolare;
- disegno di linee ed a mano libera;
- selettore di colore, riempimento e gomma;
- può creare icone di dimensione secondo modello o personalizzate;
- legge e scrivere un'ampia gamma di formati bitmap;
- rapida conversione in scala di grigi;
- è possibile ridimensionare un'icona;
- annulla e ripristina per molte funzioni.

- make sure all supporting software is installed
yast -i libkde4-devel cmake subversion make gcc-c++
- get the source code
svn co svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/trunk/extragear/graphics
- compile it
cd graphics cmake . && make -j8 && make install/strip
- as a test, start it
