Creating a New Database File

1. Run Kexi, or if it is already running, use File->New... (Ctrl+N).
2. Choose Blank Database and click the OK to confirm the creation of the project.
3. Select New Project Stored in File and proceed with Next.
4. Enter a name for your project, and click Next.
5. Use the file browser to choose a folder where you would like to save your database file. You may change the file name in the Location: box if you dislike the one that is suggested.
6. Click Create.
